Lets get it done!!!

Credit is the provision of resources by one party to another party. The goal of the Annual Percentage Rate calculation is to promote ‘truth in lending’, to give potential borrowers a clear measure of the true cost of borrowing and to allow a comparison to be made between competing products.
We are here to provide loans(and of course other options) to people, who have no real opportunity where in they make a choice between competing products. To these people any money from whichever source is welcome. Sometimes any money at any interest rate is welcome.
Prerit mentioned in the first post that through the journey we will become more professional and more humane. I would say it is very aptly put. We need to become more professional for although the task should be to generate revenues, the larger picture has to be that we are able to lend money in a more efficient manner, which indirectly ensures the end customer can avail of loans at a lower interest rate. The journey if taken in the right sense, will undoubtedly make us more humane. Seeing the ambition of people who are barely living a hand to mouth, but wanting to buy credit(money) to increase their standard of living is inspirational. The same set of people whom we have always considered as supine and responsible to some extent for their conditions are the ones who are eager to change their personal status-quo’s by taking risks without any insulation whatsoever.
During a discussion we were having last week, there was something which Vipr said which struck me. All we need to improve the standard of living of the masses is to find one capable guy in every district and get the job done. 600 capable people is what we need to develop for the 600 districts of this huge country to probably take it into a different league. Even if we manage to develop 100 capable men for as many districts to start with, it would be a commendable achievement. Insha allah.
Lets not just be the ones expounding about things needed to be done but try and actually get a grip on the methods of getting them done within the proposed time frames and cost and revenue estimates. Lets have a goal of making a credit journal which helps people to ascertain which section of people deserve what kind of a loan. That is the kind of expertise we need to build in the team. Also I believe we need to figure out how we can reduce the time that a customer has to wait in between applying a loan and actually getting it.
Lets give it our best in terms of planning, implementing and strategising. More importantly we need to make it a case in point of good intentions and also good drafting.

Lets get it done!!!!
